Take a walk around the private streets of the village and you will see many lovely homes and well-kept gardens. Here residents have privacy and independence in a supportive community they are rightly proud of.

There is a range of regular, organised activities for residents, including indoor and outdoor bowls, exercise classes, happy hour, quiz nights, movies, housie, mah-jong and cards.

We also arrange away trips to help you make the most of what is happening in the wider Wairarapa and Greater Wellington communities.

An added benefit is the local bus service (free with your SuperGold Card) which drives through the village during the day, picking up residents for trips into town. And if you need a lift to our recreation centre, the village buggy will collect you and return you home.  And we have a local doctor who holds a clinic at the village.

The beauty of living in our village is that you can be as retired as you like, with no worries about mowing the lawns or even painting the house. The maintenance staff take care of it all for you!

You’ll see that we offer many living options – from 10 one bedroom apartments to 83 two and three bedroom villas with internal access garaging.  We also offer 18 one bedroom rental flats.

And because Glenwood Masonic Hospital is located in our grounds, we can offer you access to greater support if it is ever needed.
