Feedback from residents and their families, as well as from the official audits conducted on behalf of the Ministry of Heath, shows we are doing this successfully. Our staff are caring, friendly and professional and our facilities are of a high standard.
We plan the care of each of our residents in conjunction with the resident and their family. This means you or your loved one enjoy a personalised care programme tailored the individual’s specific needs.
Our staff are suitably qualified and experienced, and we encourage them to be involved in regular training and ongoing professional development.
The care you or your loved ones receive is provided by registered nurses, caregivers and diversional therapists. A podiatrist visits regularly and we have access to a physiotherapist and dietitian.
Two qualified diversional therapists work from Monday to Saturday and collaborate with residents to ensure their needs and interests are met. Having our own van makes it possible for residents to enjoy shopping trips, visits to community social clubs and scenic drive.
Residents have the option to choose moving into one of our superior rooms for which there is an accommodation supplement charge.
Across our care facilities depending on the room selected and location this charge ranges from $11 to $35 per day. Please speak to our Care Manager for further information.
