Glenwood Masonic Hospital is set in the beautiful grounds of the Wairarapa Masonic Village.

We recognise that everyone in our care has their own unique needs and requirements so we focus carefully on providing personalised care tailored to the individual.
We cook all meals on the premises, and we provide home baking for morning and afternoon teas. Our recreation programme includes arts/crafts, exercise, music entertainers, animal visits, van outings and an array of other activities.
The care you or your loved ones receive is provided by registered nurses, caregivers and diversional therapists. We also have a physiotherapist available each week, a dietitian visits regularly, and we provide access to other health professionals by referral.
Our staff are suitably qualified and experienced, and encouraged to be involved in training and ongoing professional development. Our caregivers complete the nationally recognised ‘NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing’ qualification and our staff attend local and national education sessions related to ageing, palliative care and other relevant clinical topics.

We offer ongoing care for those just out of hospital, and the option of hospital and respite care for people with serious and complex injuries or long-term needs.
Residents have the option to choose moving into one of our superior rooms for which there is an accommodation supplement charge.
Across our care facilities depending on the room selected and location this charge ranges from $0 to $100 per day. Please speak to our Facility Manager for further information.
