Our Edale care facility reflects the distinctive local character that’s valued by its residents and the wider Rangitikei community.
And these relationships extend to strong links between our staff and the families of our residents. These relationships are built on great two-way communication and transparency so our carers and our residents, and their wider families, are all on the same page.
To this end, we provide WiFi in all rooms, so our residents can communicate online for free with family and friends.
All our staff are trained to the District Health Board’s standards, and some also choose to do additional professional development.
We have a registered nurse on site and our experienced diversional therapist provides residents with a weekly programme of interesting activities and outings.
We have a thriving retirement community and most of our residents have been with us for many years. Because we put such emphasis on creating a family-like atmosphere and a strong sense of community, our residents develop secure and trusting relationships with our care-givers.
