Retirement living

The Trust has five attractive retirement communities, each with their own character. They are designed for contemporary retirement lifestyles and to meet the needs of their residents.

People come to our villages for many reasons. These may include living in a safe community, being with like-minded people, no longer having to maintain property or mow lawns, and having access to care services.

Whatever the reasons, our village residents are offered privacy and independence in a supportive setting where they have the choice of being involved in a wide range of interesting activities.

Integrity, charity, excellence, respect for others and community service are foundation stones of Freemasonry. In keeping with these values, all people of goodwill – regardless of their race, religion, nationality or personal beliefs – are welcome in our retirement communities.

We are proud that the Horowhenua Masonic Village, Manawatu Masonic Court,Te Awahou Masonic VillageWairarapa Masonic Village and Woburn Apartments are the first choice of many.

Each of the Trust’s five retirement communities has its own character – but they are all designed for contemporary retirement lifestyles and to meet the needs of their residents.

“The Village is very well organised, with well appointed gardens and seating and lots of space and privacy. Marvellous lighting. Friendly, with lots of things to do, but it’s not pushy – you can do your own thing.”

“Oh, yes! Mum’s blossomed while she’s been at the Village! She used to live on her own and her bad legs meant that she had to stop playing bowls. All in all she’s a BIG SUCCESS STORY!”
